Obasanjo In Secret Biafra Negotiations.

Obasanjo In Secret Biafra Negotiations.

Officially, the reason for the visit was to commission a road being built by the governor Okezie Ikpeazu. But we have been informed that Obasanjo was sent to Aba by President Muhammadu Buhari to explore means to defuse the pro-Biafra protests that have taken the southeast region by storm.
Since the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the self-proclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) by security agents in October, many young people have demonstrated in the big cities of the southeast and beyond demanding Kanu’s release and the secession of the region from Nigeria.
Several of the protesters have been killed by the police and tensions are mounting, with concerns being raised over the impact of Kanu’s arrest and pro-Biafran sentiment on Nigerian security.
So the president dispatched Obasanjo as a secret emissary to Aba, which is seen as the epicentre of the pro-Biafran movement, to negotiate with key players on how to resolve the crisis.

Obasanjo met several people that he was advised could help calm the situation down. These include Eze Azu Egege, the traditional ruler of the Ogbor community in Aba North.

Anambra First Lady Killer!!! YOU KILLED YOUR HUSBAND’S Wife--- Says Uche Ekwunife

Anambra First Lady Killer!!!  YOU KILLED YOUR HUSBAND’S WIFE--- Says Uche Ekwunife Accuses Anambra First Lady.

A big fight broke out between Anambra First Lady and Uche Ekwunife recently on the entourage of Nigeria’s First Lady to Poland. Trouble started when on arrival with the First Lady, who was accompanied by Uche Ekwunife, Bola Shagaya and others, Ebele Obiano who was among those at the airport to receive the First Lady, greeted every other person except Uche Ekwunife.

Later in the day, when Ebele Obiano came to see the Dame Ptience Jonathan, according to a source with the First Lady, she again greeted everybody except Uche Ekwunife. Those who had noticed the trend asked her why the obvious slight, wondering whether Uche, perhaps was having an under ground relationship with the new governor. Pointing at Uche, Ebere said ” I do not greet prostitutes,” to the astonishment of all those around.
Uche Ekwunife did not (could not) say anything, according to our source, until Ebele Obiano told her that she would deal with her and make sure she crumbles all her businesses in Awka.
Stung, Uche said, “i will not bandy words with you. That you killed your husband’s first wife for him to marry you does not mean you can deal with other women [Ebele Obiano used to be the secretary to Obiano until he lost the wife and married her]; that you are dealing with your alcoholic husband does not mean you can deal with me,” Ekwunife said to Ebele Obiano
Confused, Ebele Obiano said, “my husband drinks champagne not alcohol,” providing comic relief that set everybody laughing.
Just when the Anambra First Lady was about to go physical, Dame Patience emerged, joined by other women. They lambasted Wille Obiano’s wife for lack of manners and tact. “Instead of you to go to Margaret Obi to teach you how to be a First Lady, I heard you no longer talk to her.
This your behaviour today has confirmed all that is said about you and your husband. Please if this is how you behave, never join me on any trip again, both within and outside the country,” an annoyed Dame Patience said.

Chife Victor Umeh Blasts DSS, Senators On Nnamdi kanu Case.

Umeh, who is also the senatorial candidate of APGA in the forthcoming re-run election in the Anambra Central Senatorial zone, also apportioned blames at the members of the National Assembly representing the South-East geo-political zone for keeping silent.
According to Vanguard, Umeh lambasted the South-east senators for keeping quiet and watch as the issue continue unabated.

He said: “Our National Assembly members should have advised the federal government to release Nnamdi Kanu first and then intervene in the dispute to ensure that frayed nerves are calmed on the issue, instead of keeping silent while the agitation is escalating.”

However, Olufemi Fani-Kayodehas reacted to the whole drama as he praised Justice Mohammed for being courageous enough to reject the sitting on Nnamdi Kanu’s case.

FUNNY--- As Buhari Talks Tough Says No Group Will Hold Nigeria To Ransom Again.

FUNNY--- As Buhari Talks Tough Says No Group Will Hold Nigeria To Ransom Again.

President Muhammadu Buhari in his Christmas message yesterday warned that any threat to Nigeria’s peace would not be tolerated. He said: “We must never again allow any group to hold the nation to ransom under whatever guise,”.
“I felicitate with all Nigerians, especially our Christian brothers and sisters, on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas. On this occasion of the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, let us all rededicate ourselves to the virtues of peace, love, honesty, justice, equity, piety, humility and service to others which he taught.

A greater manifestation of these virtues and ideals in the lives of Nigerians, he said, will immensely help Nigeria to become a more united, peaceful, secure and progressive nation.
