A CAUSE OF FAMINE LOOMS IN NORTHERN NIGERIA, THE DEEDS OF THEIR FATHERS – MSF SWITZERLAND

A CAUSE OF FAMINE LOOMS IN NORTHERN NIGERIA, THE DEEDS OF THEIR FATHERS – MSF SWITZERLAND

Northeast Nigeria is “close” to famine with hundreds of thousands trapped without help, and must be declared a “top emergency” by the UN, said Medical charity Doctors Without Borders on Wednesday.

The charity known by its French acronym MSF said the region devastated by Boko Haram’s Islamist insurgency had between 500,000 and 800,000 people trapped in areas that cannot be reached by humanitarian workers.

A UN “top emergency” designation — which would put Nigeria on a list with Syria, Iraq and Yemen — would immediately mobilise more resources to a crisis that has not received nearly enough attention, MSF said. Boko Haram attacks in the northeast have declined over the last year, but MSF’s emergency programme manager Hugues Robert noted that aid workers were still limited in where they can go.

Some cities in the northeast, such as Banki and Bama, had gone up to 18 months without any humanitarian deliveries before aid agencies and the UN arrived in June.

“What was extremely shocking was the level of severe acute malnutrition,” Robert said, adding that communities faced “close to a famine situation.”

Many areas can only be accessed under escort from the Nigerian army, he told reporters in Geneva after returning from Borno state, the epicenter of the Boko Haram insurgency.
“We need the UN and all their agencies to consider this as a top emergency,” Bruno Jochum, director of MSF Switzerland, told reporters.

Don't forget the northern conspired with the Islamic world and also with the British in 1967 to 1970 to wipe out biafrans, this is the law of karma at work.

Boko Haram, which seeks to impose strict Islamic law in northern Nigeria, has been blamed for some 20,000 deaths and displacing more than 2.6 million people since 2009 till date.

TENSION !!!! AS ND-AVENGERS TELLS NIGERIA MILITARY BRING ON ALL THE DRONES YOU CAN BUY FROM EUROPE AND USA, WE ARE WAITING...

The Niger Delta Avengers has revealed that the federal government amidst the reported peace talk with agitators in the Niger Delta is striking a deal with the United States on purchase of drones to combat the freedom fighters.

In a statement released by the NDA's spokesperson Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, the group reiterated it resolve to crumble the nation's economy as the president has failed to follow the right path which is genuine dialogue that would be conducted in the presence of the international community.

The statement reads in full: The NDA intelligence agency gathered that the said peace talk or dialogue by the federal government is a delay tactic employed by the federal government, to enable their purchased drones that are said to arrive latest end of August from the United State.

This whole thing makes us to wonder what kind of country is this? We can all see that President Buhari led government is fraud. They are not serious about any dialogue and made it seems the Niger Delta Avengers are the ones not ready for dialogue.

Mr. President you can purchase all the drones in Europe and Untied State. It won’t stop the Niger Delta Avengers from bringing the country’s economy to zero.

The worse you can do is to kill poor innocent people which the military is good at but know the Nigeria Economy will suffer. Also noted, you will not be able to export one litre of crude in the Niger Delta. Just intensify the oil exploration in the North East as for the ones in the Niger Delta forget about it because the Nigeria government won’t export a drop from our land.

Spokesperson.

Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo

NIGER-DELTA AVENGERS HAS BOMBED A TOTAL OF 1,447 PIPELINE, ATTACKS ON NNPC IN 2016 ALONE.

NIGER-DELTA AVENGERS HAS BOMBED A TOTAL OF 1,447 PIPELINE, ATTACKS ON NNPC IN 2016 ALONE.

NNPC’s Group Managing Director, Dr Maikanti Baru disclosed this when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin in his office.
According to Baru, the volume of products lost through vandalism of oil and gas infrastructure alone underscored the need for stakeholders especially security agencies to devise more effective strategies to address the menace.

Acknowledging that security agencies were doing much to address the menace, the GMD said the persistence of oil thieves and saboteurs was affecting even the 2016 budget implementation.

His words, “The supply and distribution of Nigeria’s oil and gas resources remain critical to the survival of our economy but it is saddening to note that these critical national assets have become targets of vandalism and sabotage.

“The budget plan of the Federal Government is grossly affected as a result of the development because of the shortage presently estimated at 700,000 barrels per day.
“The gas to power projections of government is also being hampered due to the activities of the vandals.
“In 2015 alone, pipeline losses of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in volume of 643 million litres valued at about N51.3 bn was recorded, while 1,447 incidences of vandalism was reported so far in 2016.’’

BREAKING NEWS !!! IPOB SAYS AN ATTACK ON IJAW LAND IS AN ATTACK ON BIAFRA.

BREAKING NEWS !!! IPOB SAYS AN ATTACK ON IJAW LAND IS AN ATTACK ON BIAFRA.

The latest madness consuming the blood-thirsty oil thieves called Nigerian leaders and their vandals (the Army) is their decision to take war to the people of Niger Delta. We hear that the devils from Northern Nigeria (with support from their Yoruba counterpart from the West) have launched what they call “Exercise Crocodile Smile” to train for war against Niger Delta freedom fighters, the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA).
The Army reportedly declared during the week that “The Nigerian Army will from this weekend commence another training exercise codenamed ‘Exercise Crocodile Smile’ in 82 Division and part of two Division areas of responsibility traversing South-south geo-political zone.”
At this juncture, it is important that those who know how to reach these Nigerian devils inform them that while they are making plans to attack the so-called Niger Delta, or South-south; they should equally make plans to contend with the South-east once they commence hostilities. As they plan to take on Ijaw people, they should also plan to take on Igbo people. Their plans should therefore be on how to fight all Biafrans.
The days of dividing Biafrans to defeat them are over. This time around Biafrans are together – hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder. our ranks can no longer be broken. Pain on one is pain on all. If you contend with anyone – Ijaw, Ibibio, Igala, Igbo, Idoma, Efik, Ogoja, and others – be ready to contend with all.  The time is now to show these criminal Nigerians that we will stand to defend ourselves. We will stand  to defend our land. we sill stand to fight together.
We know who we are. We know we were same people living together in peace and harmony before the British came to our land. Before the British cobbled together this contraption they called Nigeria, which expired in 2014, we were Biafrans, and we knew it. If in doubt, consult the profile of Presbyterian Church. Part of it reads: “Rev. Hope Masterton Waddell, arrived Calabar where they set up the first congregation of what is now known as The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria. From Calabar, the Church began to grow. “In 1858, it was constituted as the Presbytery of Biafra. This Presbytery of Biafra metamorphosed into the Presbyterian Synod of Biafra in 1921. The Church continued to witness remarkable growth until 1945, when the Presbyterian Church of Biafra was constituted, with the Synod as its highest court. In the same year, the white missionaries handed over the Church administration to Nigerians. The Presbyterian Church of Biafra became the Presbyterian Church of Eastern Nigeria in 1952.”
So, we knew we were Biafrans, even before the Europeans came. That was why when the time came in 1967 for our people to exit the evil contraption that Britain created, Frank Opigo, former Principal of Okrika High School, who hails from Oporoma in Bayelsa State, did not mince words. He declared to His Excellency, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu: “We are Biafrans; our name is Biafra”.
Those who know the history can tell how we worked together in peace and harmony as one people. We lived apart in a confederation, but we were one people. Though living apart as separate peoples, we confederated with love and understanding. Without Police or Army, we maintained a sane society; we did not go to war with each other; we did not conquer one another; neither did we make empires from one another. We knew we were great people because after seeing the complex, but seamless societies we ran, the British describe us as the “Great people of Biafra” in the treaty they signed with leaders of Biafra and Itshekiri.

The above historical account is the major reason why we will no longer be deceived by divide-and-rule tactics of evil Nigeria. This is why any attack on Ijaw is an attack on Biafra, and so we will do everything to defend Ijaw land.
Nigerian government with its evil Army says it wants to go to war with the Avengers because they (the Avengers) have been bombing oil pipelines. But we are asking them how what our people do with their resources becomes a problem for Nigeria. A people say they no longer want the resources in their land exploited, how does that concern Nigeria?
We Biafrans are not complaining why should Fulani people from Feuta Djallon Mountain in Senegal and Yoruba people from Western Nigeria complain? This is why we are sounding it loud and clear that Muhammadu Buhari and his Northern Nigeria Islamic Army should not take war to Niger Delta. If they want to fight Ijaw, they should be ready to fight the Igbo also. An attack on Ijaw is an attack on, not only Igbo, but Biafra as a whole.

Nigerians are planning this war because they thought it would be like before when while we are divided, squabbling and fighting one another, they would attack a part and get away with it. Those days are gone. It will never happen again. If one part of Biafra is attacked, the other parts will no longer stand by and watch. Never! We will join the fight!

SHOCKING !!! BIAFRA IS NOW CLOSE AS YAHOO TALKS AGAIN ABOUT BIAFRA AND OJUKWU THE WAR LORD.

breakaway Republic of Biafra, giving a press conference in Enugu, Nigeria during the Biafran war Its name is synonomous with the declaration of independence and updates on the brutal conflict that followed, but nearly 50 years after Nigeria's civil war, Radio Biafra is again making headlines.

The modern-day version -- broadcasting online apparently from London and, many suspect, retransmitted inside Nigeria -- was taken off air last week after regulators called it illegal.
President Muhammadu Buhari was also forced to issue a statement, denying the station's claims he had criticised Igbos, one of the country's three largest ethnic groups, in a recent BBC interview.
"The illegal broadcasts from the seditious pirate radio station... shattered the peace... with unsavoury hate messages," the National Broadcasting Commission said last Friday.

The messages were "designed to create disunity among Nigerians and mislead young people in a deliberate act of subversion. Nigerians do not need another round of heartache and bloodshed", it added.
The existence of the station, which was easily picked up in Nigeria's southeast, is a reminder of the country's bubbling ethnic tensions and the still-raw wounds of history.
Listeners said its anti-government propaganda showed the dream of a separate Biafran republic is still alive, 45 years after the end of the bloody civil war.
"Although the radio did not have good programmes lined up, its listenership was growing by the day and the government felt threatened by its popularity, especially among the youths," said Chijioke Amadi, 32, in the southeastern city of Enugu.

- 'A state of our own' -
With Nigeria's young demographic, most listeners to Radio Biafra will not even have been born when Igbo General Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu declared an independent Republic of Biafra in 1967.
But memories linger of the anti-Igbo pogrom in the mainly Muslim north that preceded secession and the war that followed.

When the fighting ended in 1970 with more than one million Igbos dead of disease and hunger, Nigeria's military ruler General Yakubu Gowon declared there was "no victor or vanquished".
But the Igbos claim they have been unfairly treated -- even punished -- ever since.
"Our grandfathers and fathers adopted the ideology of Biafra," said Uchenna Madu, spokesman for the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).
"We believe in their vision and we have continued to build on the foundation laid by our parents. We are being denied our fundamental rights of being Biafrans," he told AFP.
"We love Nigeria, we want to contribute to its development but the Nigerian state is paying us back with hatred. We want a state of our own."

One Igbo former military officer, who participated in the so-called "Igbo coup" in January 1966 and later fought for Biafra, said the sense of injustice had been passed down generations.
"The children who were born after the war ask their parents why the five states in the region are underdeveloped," the 72-year-old said, declining to give his name.
"Their parents tell them of the pogrom and devastation that took place during the war and these children, now adults, feel bitter and demand to go their separate ways."
- 'We shall prevail' -

Most "Biafra" agitators assert their region is overlooked in the provision of infrastructure such as roads, water, electricity, medical care, education, as well as senior political posts.
There was criticism recently from the southeast of Buhari's appointments to senior military roles.
Emeka Umeagbalasi, head of the International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of the Law, said Igbos had been "totally excluded with impunity".

The appointments were "undemocratic and unconstitutional," he added, referring to a contentious constitutional provision for posts to be shared among Nigeria's regions.
For Eze Onyekpere, director of the Centre for Social Justice pressure group, the situation demonstrated how Nigeria has failed to come to terms with its past and diversity.
"They have been swept under the carpet. These are national questions which Radio Biafra has sought to highlight," he added.
In such a powder keg of competing ethnic and religious identities, dissent -- whether on radio or via Biafra Television -- can thrive.

Eleven men from a MASSOB splinter group are currently on trial charged with conspiracy to declare a breakaway republic when they stormed a state-run radio station in Enugu in June last year.
For Uchenna, the incidents show "the spirit of Biafra is alive and it cannot die".
"We shall prevail," he said. "We are no longer interested in Nigeria. No tribe in Nigeria has the interest of the Igbos at heart, hence our sustained campaign for our own separate republic."

ROWLAND GATE MEDIA SAYS
BUHARI HAS MOCKED BIAFRA FREEDOM FIGHTERS AND NIGER-DELTA AVENGERS  5 DAYS FINAL WARNING TO RELEASE THEIR LEADER NNAMDI KANU UNCONDITIONALLY.  Says Drop Your Guns, I will Review Your Amnesty Programme.

What an insult to all biafrans, both in the south-east, south-south, to all lovers of freedom and finally to billions of followers and sympathizers of the leader of indigenous people of biafra Nmandi Kanu

Buhari does not get it that the indigenous people of biafra can nolonger tolerate Nigeria anymore. buhari you cant stop the ideology whose time has come. Biafra is a religion, Biafra is a save home for all those who has been disenfranchised, and humiliated, a save home for the oppressed, who are located in the old eastern region in the present day Nigeria. For the very first time ever in history the whole forces both in the south-east to the south-south and Niger-delta forces has join hands together to make Biafra become a reality , Isoko Liberation Movement, Ijwa Liberation Forces, Niger Delta militant, Massob, Bakassi boys, Niger-Delta Avangers, and finally the giant killers IPOB

The old eastern region which comprises of the south east and south-south Niger Delta Region,

has giving a five days warning to the Federal Government of Nigeria to release the Radio Director of Biafra and the former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) in the next two week without hesitation and unconditionally.

BUHARI disobedience to court decisions is one of the dimensions of corruption and seen as gross abuse of office, contrary to section 15 (5) of the 1999 constitution.
“We ask, is President Muhammadu Buhari has any legal capacity to declare anyone as a criminal instead of the courts? Disobedience to court orders is an act of executive rascality in the country.

Nmandi Kanu has been in detention since October 14, 2015 when he was arrested by operatives of the DSS while the former national security adviser too is facing multiple charges before three different courts and was re-arrested recently at the gate of Kuje prision, Abuja shortly after he has perfected all his bail conditions. The continued detention and incarceration of the two accused persons is humanly unjustifiable in the 1999 constitution and therefore the rule of law must be respected”.

President Muhammadu Buhari must not constitute himself as a court of law and allow justice to prevail in the country. Within this period we will halt gas and oil operations in the country until they are released as directed by the courts.
If you want to know what a leopard is thinking, see what its tail is doing. This does not represent maturity of a democratic President which he made people believe.

When the indigenous people of Biafra took to the street for the release of their leader, Nnamdi KANU Radio Biafra Director, Buhari tagged them as losers and jobless miscreants this remarks even came from high profile personalities such as Obasanjo and Gowon.

Some believed that their protest will die a natural death as usually seen in many parts of the country, but that’s where we got it wrong, for so long the dust have been gathering and noises abroad now Biafra is on the lips of everyone even the president always remark on his resolve to hold our unity above his life signifying that the heat is reaching him.

I took to research a little on why this people are resolute to further their cause despite the human abuses often given to them by the Nigeria arm forces. From there I came to understand this fact about them, they have one thing that Nigeria seriously lacks, what could have made this country a place to be admired.

The nation of Biafra or Biafraland is beyond the areas occupied by the Igbo-speaking people of Biafra. For the avoidance of doubt, Biafra spans from Itsekiriland on the western boundary with Oduduwa to Bakassi on the eastern boundary with the Cameroons. Biafra also stretched from Idoma and Igala lands on the northern boundary with Arewa or Northern Nigeria to the Bight of Biafra which is south of the beautiful island of Bonny. In the present-day contraption called Nigeria, the nation of Biafra consists of the following states: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers. Biafra also includes Igbanke in Edo state, Igala in Kogi state, and Idoma in Benue state.

The footprints of Biafra listed above show that this great nation is not populated by only the Igbo-speaking people. It is also important to note that the last head of state and commander-in-chief of Biafra was not from the Igbo-speaking area of Biafralnd. During the war of genocide levied on Biafra by Nigeria and Britain, there were brave Biafran soldiers, field commanders, scientists, civil servants, technocrats, musicians/artists, and astute journalists/broadcasters who were not from Igbo-speaking areas of Biafraland.
Biafra is a nation where different languages are spoken but irrespective of the varying languages, the people have a common value system, four market days, and a unique traditional clothing (two-piece wrapper) for every Biafran woman. It is instructive to note that Igbo is just one of the languages in Biafraland. Even the Igbo language has different dialects as someone travels from one community to the other or from one state to another state Biafra is not about the Igbos alone but Biafra is a blessed nation of people with common value system. The public must ignore and stay away from anyone or group that equates Biafra with Igbo. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is not for only Igbo-speaking people and will never be for only Igbo-speaking people..

No sane Nigerian would want to lay down his life for any leader in this kind of country even when paid with huge sum of cash especially from the southern Nigeria. But Nnamdi KANU has broken this jinx, hence whether dead or alive is a hero and a leader to be Recon with because he has shown an example of a true leadership and this is why the whole forces in the niger-delta , south-south and south-east has joined hands together to actualize Biafra and if anything happens to Nmandi Kanu Nigeria will explode within a day

The actualization of Biafra is beyond the ability of Nigerian government and her President to stop it.
